Welcome! Thanks for visiting our site!

Why do we gather here at St. James'?
To worship… to make friends… to hear the Word… to seek understanding… to find healing… to grow... to explore spirituality… to serve others…to learn... to pray… to express thanksgiving… to find God.
Every person who enters St. James' Episcopal Church has a unique reason for gathering here. Some of us grew up in the Episcopal Church, some of us come from different faith backgrounds, and some of us are just beginning to explore our own personal faith. Whatever your reason for visiting us at St. James', we are glad you are here.
All people are welcome at St. James' Episcopal Church: any gender, any race, any age, any class, any political view, any sexual orientation, any background, any ability level, any marital status, any denomination… You are welcome here!

The worship experience at St. James'
Worship in the Episcopal Church, rooted in The Book of Common Prayer, can be experienced in a variety of ways, both contemporary and traditional. Members participate as readers, musicians, altar servers, and by leading other weekly services, including Morning Prayer. Music varies, and includes organ, piano, guitars, and choir.

God's house is open, God's table is open...
Whoever you are, wherever you are in life's journey, the Episcopal Church welcomes you. We celebrate Holy Eucharist (Communion, the Lord's Supper, etc) on a weekly basis. Our table is open--all Christians are welcome to receive Communion. We believe in one God, the Holy Trinity-God, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit. God continues to create, redeem and sustain our world, and invites us to participate in that creation.

Come and grow with the Episcopal Church...
The Episcopal Church has about 2.5 million members in 7500 congregations in the United States and other nations. Episcopalians study Scripture in the light of tradition, reason, and experience. We are a church of worship and community prayer… sacrament and liturgy… common sense and imagination… unity and diversity… and we are a church that looks outward as well as inward.

Come and grow with us...
At St. James' Episcopal Church, we seek to challenge and transform the world, beginning with ourselves, and to celebrate the image of God in every person. We are a house of worship, prayer, and service for everyone, welcoming all who seek an inclusive community of love. Come and grow with us!
